Trained in Egypt, in the United States and in Switzerland, Luisa is a passionate and energetic dancer and choreographer, with a unique elegant style. She takes her first steps into what would later become her career in Caracas, Venezuela, her hometown where she quickly discovers her passion and her natural talent for this dance style. She decides then to go to Egypt and learn from the best. Besides being overwhelmed by the beauty and the culture of this wonderful country, she has the privilege of dancing alongside the masters in the Nile Group Festival in Cairo. She continues her training in the United States led by teachers such as Virginia Mendez, Maria Jamal and Jihan Jamal. This provides her with the opportunity to participate in many workshops presented by masters of oriental dance: Tito Seif, Randa Kamel, Mohamed Kazafy, Mohamed Shahin, Yoursy Sharif, Tamalyn Dallal, Saida, Khaled Mahmoud, Aida Nur, among others.
Results are not long in coming. Luisa gets the 3rd place in the prestigious USA Belly Dance Queen, and becomes one one the finalists in the Master Category in the Rasktar Festival in Miami, Florida. She leads ever since a successful career in the entertainment industry, performing as lead dancer in the main Middle East restaurants in Florida, and in many cultural events of the distinguished Arab Society. From 2016 on, she decides to take up a new challenge and conquer the hearts of Belly Dance aficionados across Europe. Nowadays, she shares her passion with her public and her students in Geneva and in Lausanne.
Luisa created "Sadaf Oriental Dance Festival" to bring to the city of Lausanne, Switzerland, the best Instructors of oriental dance, and a festival to share the knowledge and passion with students, and dancers from around the world at a spectacular location.
